Dr. Ann Blake, Environmental and Public Health Consulting
Ann is an independent consultant with over 25 years of experience in toxics reduction strategies that includes creating criteria for environmentally preferable purchasing, ecolabels and product rating systems as well as local, national and international chemicals policy reform. Her consulting practice explores how we can meet our needs for goods, services and jobs with minimal impact to the health of individuals, workers, communities, and the environment. Ann’s current focus is on solutions at the nexus of climate adaptation, health, equity, and safer materials.
Dr. Martin Mulvihill, Safer Made
Martin is a co-founder and a partner in Safer Made, a mission-driven venture capital fund investing companies and technologies that reduce human exposure to harmful chemicals. Martin is also a researcher and advisor at the Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry, which he helped create and where he served as the founding initial Executive Director from 2010-2015. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies to help them replace hazardous chemicals with safer alternatives.
