EJNCF Webinar: Mandatory Emissions Reductions in Environmental Justice

The Equitable and Just National Climate Forum (EJNCF) is hosting a webinar on environmental justice (EJ) approaches to climate mitigation policy through concepts such as mandatory emissions reductions (MER). The EJ grassroots movement has argued for years that, in addition to fighting climate change, climate change mitigation policy should also “mandate” reductions of disproportionate pollution loads and high levels of cumulative impacts of pollution often found in EJ communities.
