Keep Our National Parks Single-Use Plastic Free

Americans overwhelmingly support ending the sale and distribution of single-use plastics inside national parks.

Our national parks were once home to Native People who for thousands of years were the original stewards of these lands. The Reducing Waste in National Parks Act represents a small but important step for the National Park Service to honor the legacy of Indigenous stewardship and deepen its commitment to a more socially and environmentally just future. By ending the sale and distribution of single-use plastics inside national parks, we protect nature, waterways, wildlife, and our own experiences within this nation’s most beloved places.

Urge your U.S. Representative and Senators to sponsor the Reducing Waste in National Parks Act (S.2960/H.R.5533).
