The State of Zero Waste Municipalities report explores how cities are working to reduce waste and transition toward more sustainable systems. It highlights municipalities that are moving away from traditional waste management models and adopting zero-waste approaches. This year’s report focuses in particular on best-practice examples of reuse systems. It inspires hope that effective zero-waste strategies are already being implemented in cities across Europe. The report also identifies three key priorities for cities in the coming year to help them move closer to zero waste.
